MACON, Ga. – Kentucky State junior defensive back
Lawrence McConnell has been named to the 2025 Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SIAC) Football Preseason All-Conference First Team for the second straight year, the league office announced Tuesday.
McConnell tallied 56 total tackles during his sophomore season, including 31 solo stops and 25 assisted tackles. As a freshman, he appeared in all 11 games and recorded a season-high nine tackles against Benedict on Oct. 12.
The Thorobreds were picked to finish 10th in the 2025 SIAC Preseason Predicted Order of Finish. The full predicted order is listed below.
