Men’s Basketball Set for SIAC Quarterfinal Clash with No. 1E Clark Atlanta on Wednesday

ATLANTA – Kentucky State men's basketball set to clash with No. 1E Clark Atlanta Wednesday, March 5 at 8:00 p.m. for the 2025 SIAC Men's Basketball Championship quarterfinals at the Forbes Arena in Atlanta, Georgia.
 
SERIES HISTORY
Since 2011 the two have met 18 times with the Panthers leading the series 10-8. This season both teams met on Dec. 16, 2024 as Clark edged out Kentucky State 81-69.
 
SCOUTING THE PANTHERS
After finishing the 2024-25 season 18-9 overall and 15-5 in league play the Panthers earned the top seed in the East Division. In their final regular season game, they defeated Allen 73-66 (Feb. 26).
 
Two Panthers to watch are Jalen Williams who averages 13.9 points per game and has 32 assists on the season. Shemani Fuller leads the Panthers with 8 rebounds per game while averaging 11.7 points per game.
 
NATIONAL LEADER
Lavar Miller Jr. leads the nation with an average of 4.2 three-pointers per game and paces the Thorobreds with 19.2 points per game. He has also recorded 60 assists this season.
