CRESTVIEW HILLS, Ky. – Kentucky State Softball dropped both games of their midweek doubleheader at Thomas More.
Although the Thorobreds scored the opening run, the Saints responded with four runs to give them an early boost and help them to a 7-4 win over Kentucky State in game one.
Thomas More led the contest at the plate with 10 hits while the Thorobreds tallied six.
Tayler Floyd had a strong performance at the plate with one hit, one RBI, two runs in her three at bats.
Aaliyah Long recorded two RBI and one double.
The final game of the doubleheader was a 10-0, five innings win for the Saints.
Savannah Teale went 1-of-1 at the plate for the Thorobreds.
UP NEXT
Kentucky State will host conference opponent Lane this weekend March 22-23, beginning with a doubleheader on Saturday at 1 p.m. from State Stadium in Downtown Frankfort.
