Diara McBroom makes jump shot in final seconds of overtime to sink the Marauders ship for a 57-56 Kentucky State victory Saturday afternoon in Wilberforce, Ohio.

Jordan Isom went 6-of-9 at the charity stripe and made two three-pointers to lead the Thorobreds with 14 points.

Mondrea Williams added another double-double on the season with 12 points and blocks while leading the contest with four assists and five blocks.
Isom was sent to the line early, where she made both free-throw attempts; the game would tie twice before a pair of back-to-back layups gave the Thorobreds a 6-4 first-quarter (4:35) lead.
Converting both her layups and making a layup at 44 seconds of the first quarter,
Mondrea Williams tied the game 12-12, which remained until the end of the first quarter.
The second quarter was tightly contested, but the Thorobreds found a late run with a layup from Wiliams that put them ahead 24-22 at 1:23. In the final seconds, the Marauders scored on a layup to tie the game 24-24 at the end of the quarter.
Amyah Adair-Mars scored on a layup to bring the Thorobreds to within two of the 33-31 Marauder lead.
Aaliyah Hayes hit a three-pointer at 3:29 to take a 34-33 Kentucky State lead, but Central State would tie the game 34-34, making one free-throw with 2:24 remaining in the third.
With Central State tieing the game 36-36 with just under two minutes remaining in the third, Williams made a layup to give the Thorobreds a 38-37 lead heading into the fourth.
Central State went into a fourth-quarter scoring drought, and a layup by Adair-Mars put Kentucky State ahead by a four-point 46-42 lead with 5:02 remaining in regulation.
After a standstill between both teams, Central State tied the game 46-46 with 2:25 remaining and hit a three-pointer to take a 49-46 lead at the 1:22 mark.
A pair of clutch free-throws by Isom brought the Thorobreds to within one of the 49-48 lead as 31 seconds remained in the quarter.
Naja Fenelon was fouled on a three-point attempt and sent to the free-throw line with a chance to win the game. She made two of three shots, tying the score at 50-50 and forcing overtime.
An early three-pointer by Isom put the Thorobreds ahead at the start of overtime as
Jeana Weatherspoon made a jumper to keep Kentucky State ahead by a two-point 55-52 lead with 3:26 remaining in overtime.
The Marauders made both of their shots at the charity stripe to not only tie the game but take a 56-55 with 43 seconds remaining.
With just seconds remaining in overtime
Diara McBroom scored to sink the Marauders ship and secure a 57-56 win for the Thorobreds.
