BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Kentucky State women's basketball opened their 2025-26 campaign with a midweek exhibition against NCAA DI opponent Western Kentucky.
The Hilltoppers won the contest 81-33 and were led by 18 points from Tatum Boettjer and 11 rebounds from Tia Shelling.
Both
Alexis Hayes and
Amyah Adair-Mars led the Thorobreds with seven points each.
Alycia Triplett led KSU with nine rebounds that include six defensive rebounds and four offensive rebounds along with five steals.
UP NEXT
The Thorobreds will officially open their season Friday, Nov. 14 as they host non-conference opponent Union at 4:00 p.m. inside of the William Exum Center.
