FRANKFORT, Ky. – Kentucky State women's volleyball will host rival Central State for Senior Night on Friday, Nov. 14, at 6:30 p.m. inside the Exum Center.
Three Seniors,
Leah Tubbs,
Erin Grieb, and
Sydnee Breda-Nixon, will be recognized for their hard work and dedication to the Green and Gold.
Since 2015, Kentucky State holds a 15-6 advantage in the series. The teams last met on Oct. 17 in Wilberforce, Ohio, where the Thorobreds edged the Marauders 3-2 in a five-set thriller.
The Thorobreds look to close the season strong, riding a four-match win streak — their longest since 2022. Kentucky State opened its final home stretch with back-to-back sweeps over Lane on Nov. 7 and LeMoyne-Owen on Nov. 8, improving to 8-10 in SIAC play and 9-22 overall.
Central State enters the match on a four-game win streak, coming off a 3-0 sweep of Lane on Nov. 8. The Marauders stand at 15-10 overall and 11-7 in SIAC play.
Admission is free for all spectators, and fans unable to attend can watch the match live on the SIAC Network.
