FRANKFORT, Ky. – Kentucky State women's volleyball earned a split in Saturday's home doubleheader, rallying for a 3–1 victory over Tuskegee in the morning before falling 3–1 to Miles in the afternoon.

Kentucky State dropped the opening set to Tuskegee, 25–21, before taking control of the match with a balanced attack and timely serving to win the next three sets, 25–23, 25–18, and 25–23. The Thorobreds recorded 15 service aces and nine total blocks in the victory while holding the Golden Tigers to a .167 hitting percentage.

Clayton powered the offense with 12 kills, hitting .194 with two service aces and two blocks. Wheaton added 10 kills and four aces, while Gregory distributed 25 assists and chipped in four aces. Freshman Zora Nooks anchored the back row with 16 digs, and Leah Tubbs contributed five blocks at the net.

In the second match, Kentucky State opened strong with a 25–19 first-set win over Miles before the Golden Bears rebounded to claim the next three sets, 25–22, 25–21, and 25–19. The Thorobreds tallied 11 service aces and hit .193 as a team, but Miles countered with 13 aces and a balanced offensive effort.

Wheaton and Ananiah Huguely each finished with seven kills, while Clayton totaled nine kills and 10.5 points. Gregory dished out 17 assists with five service aces, and Sienna Stewart added 13 assists. Defensively, Nooks led with 11 digs, and Tubbs and Sydnee Breda-Nixon combined for eight total blocks.
