FRANKFORT, Ky. – Kentucky State men's volleyball falls in 0-3 sets (23-25,14-25, 22-25) to the Central State Marauders Tuesday afternoon in Bell Gym.
In the opening set, an attack error by Central State evened the score at 16-all. The game was tied again at 21 when
Kevin McGhee made a kill, and
Malachi Allen's kill brought the teams level at 22. However, Central State clinched the set with two consecutive points, winning 25-23.
Central State controlled the second set 25-14 to take a 2-0 match lead.
Unable to counter consecutive points by the Marauders, the Thorobreds fell 25-22 in the third set, handing Central State a 3-0 match victory.
Men's volleyball will meet Webber International this Friday (March 29) at 6 p.m. and follow with a SIAC match at Edward Waters on March 30 at 1 p.m.
