FRANKFORT, Ky. – Kentucky State's baseball, softball, and men's volleyball teams are set to compete on March 26, with softball hosting Asbury, men's volleyball welcoming Central State, and baseball traveling to face Kentucky Wesleyan.
Baseball: at Kentucky Wesleyan | 1 PM CT
Baseball will travel to Owensboro, Kentucky to face the Kentucky Wesleyan Panthers (8-16, 7-1 GMAC) who swept Northwood in three games. Kentucky State (11-17, 6-11 SIAC) recently took their series with Morehouse 2-1 picking up a 17-14 win in game one and an 8-3 win game two.
Softball: vs Asbury (Doubleheader) | Frankfort, Ky. – State Stadium | 4 PM & 6 PM
Softball kicks off its home schedule with a doubleheader against Asbury (9-10), starting at 4 p.m. at State Stadium in downtown Frankfort. The Eagles are coming off a split doubleheader at Bluffton where they won the second game 15-6. Kentucky State enters the matchup 13-11 on the season and 8-5 in SIAC play.
Men's Volleyball: vs Central State | Frankfort, Ky. - Bell Gym | 6 PM
Men's Volleyball 4-2 in SIAC play will host league opponent and rival Central State (4-21, 3-3 SIAC) at 6 p.m. inside Bell Gym. The Thorobreds are looking to add another conference win as they defeated Benedict 3-2 (Mar. 9) in their last conference match. Central State split their series with Benedict taking the first game 3-2 and dropping the second 1-3.
