FRANKFORT, Ky. – Kentucky State University football announces its 2024 schedule Wednesday, which will feature five home games inside Alumni Stadium.
 
The 2024 season begins with a home game against a non-conference opponent on August 31 to Central Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (CIAA) Virginia Union.
 
On September 7, the Thorobreds will travel to Huntsville, Alabama, to face Division I opponent Alabama A&M.
 
The first Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SIAC) will be road contest at Fort Valley State on September 14.
 
Kentucky State will return home to host SIAC opponent Morehouse on September 21 and will get right back on the road to face Albany State on September 28.
 
This year Homecoming will be on October 5 against Lane, the Thorobreds will remain home the following week to host the Benedict Tigers on October 12.
 
After the two-game homestead, the Thorobreds will hit the road to play Tuskegee on October 19.
 
The final home game of the season will be against the Allen Yellow Jackets on October 26.
 
The 2024 season will end in an exciting matchup at rival Central State on November 9.
