FRANKFORT, Ky. – Four former Kentucky State men's basketball student-athletes have taken their talents to play professional basketball internationally in Canada, Albania and Montenegro.

Montrell Jacobs and Kong Kong are set to reunite as teammates after both made the roster of the Windsor Express, a member of the National Basketball League of Canada. The Express, now two games into their 2024-25 season, will face the London Lightning on Friday, Dec. 13, at 7 p.m. ET.

Jalon Andrews was previously named one of the top players for KB Teuta Durres, a team in Albania's Superliga. In his debut season, he is averaging 18.4 points and 10.9 rebounds per game through eight contests, with seven consecutive double-doubles.

Meanwhile, Brandon Hill is competing in Montenegro for KK Teodo Tivat, where he has recorded five points and five rebounds so far this season.

"Playing professional basketball overseas has been an amazing experience. Competing at the professional level was a childhood dream that most hoopers want to achieve. I have had the opportunity to travel to over ten countries within Europe that has gave me a better outlook on life and more appreciative of things we have state side. As for basketball it has been a grind, from practices and multiple games per week while traveling by plane or bus. But I am grateful for being able to have this experience." Brandon Hill said about his experience playing professionally.
