FRANKFORT, Ky. – Off to a 3-0 start Kentucky State men's basketball will host Thomas More on Tuesday, Nov. 26 at 7:30 p.m. inside the Exum Center.
 
In their last time out on Nov. 23 the Thorobreds took on Northern Kentucky in an exhibition. Lavar Miller Jr. led both teams with 19 points after shooting a perfect 4-of-4 at the charity stripe. Ogien Ayo went 75%(3-of-4) from the three-point line to score 13 and combined with ten rebounds earned him a double-double.
 
On Nov. 20, Lavar Miller Jr. and Ogien Ayo were named to the 2024 HBCU All-Stars Watchlist for the 2025 HBCU All-Stars Game scheduled for April 26 in San Antionio, Texas during Final Four weekend.
 
The Saints (3-1) are also on a three-game win streak as they most recently defeated Miami-Hamilton 59-56 on Nov. 21. Three Saints scored in the double figures, Casey George (17), Kai Simpson (11) and Ryan Paris (10).
