Randi Neal added 4 kills and 3 blocks for the Thorobreds, who faced a relentless Spring Hill offense that hit .469 in the opening set.
Despite a competitive start, Kentucky State was unable to maintain momentum. The Thorobreds were limited to a .057 hitting percentage as a team, while Spring Hill's aggressive serving and blocking posed challenges throughout the match.
Spring Hill (9-7, 8-0 SIAC) was powered by Airyonna Weaver, who tallied 13 kills, 10 digs, and 2 aces. The Badgers' service game proved pivotal, with 11 aces compared to just one for Kentucky State.
