FRANKFORT, Ky. – Kentucky State women's volleyball closes their home schedule with a pair of SIAC matches, beginning with Lane at 7 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 1 and closing to LeMoyne-Owen on Saturday, Nov. 2 at 1 p.m.
The Thorobreds return home following a successful SIAC West Cluster (Oct. 25-26), where they swept Miles 3-0 and defeated Tuskegee 4-1, improving to 7-7 in conference play and 7-10 overall.
In Friday's match, Kentucky State will host Lane (7-16, 6-8 SIAC). Despite dropping their last meeting on Nov. 4, 2023, 3-1, the Thorobreds hold a commanding 22-3 series lead. Lane comes into the match after a 3-0 loss to non-conference opponent Arkansas Tech on Oct. 29. However, the Dragons picked up two victories at the SIAC West Cluster, defeating Tuskegee 3-2 and sweeping Miles 3-0.
On Saturday, the Thorobreds will honor their seniors in a matchup against LeMoyne-Owen (3-18, 1-12 SIAC). The Magicians secured their first conference win of the season with a 3-0 sweep over Tuskegee on Oct. 26. This will be the 26th meeting between the two with the Thorobreds leading the series 21-4.
