WILBERFORCE, Ohio – In their twelfth SIAC match up of the season Kentucky State men's basketball will travel to foe Central State (2-16, 1-10 SIAC) on Saturday, Jan. 27. Tip-off is scheduled for 3 p.m. in Wilberforce, Ohio.

In their last time out the Thorobreds defeated league opponent Miles 85-76. The Thorobreds dominated Miles in the first half as they averaged 75% (18-of-24) from the field, 77.8% (7-of-9) from the three-point line and maintained 90% (9-of-10) accuracy in free throws.

Ogien Ayo had a remarkable game scoring of 23 points with 11 rebounds earning a double-double, to put him as one of the leader scorers during the contest.

Brandon Hill scored 24 points with 4 rebounds and an impressive 5 assists. Hill was 4-4 at the free throw line resulting in 100% accuracy. Hill also secured a season-high of 4 3-pointers made in a game.

Lavar Miller Jr helped assist the team with 12 points, 3 rebounds and 3 steals.

Tyson Brooks joins Ayo in double-doubles with 12 points and 10 rebounds.
