FRANKFORT, Ky. – Kentucky State University Athletics is in full swing as football opens home play to Clark Atlanta on Thursday, August 31 and both women's volleyball and cross country begin their season on Friday, September 1.  

Football 
Head Coach Felton Huggins Jr. and his Thorobreds will make their 2023 season debut to the Clark Atlanta Panthers on Aug. 31 at 7 p.m. inside Alumni Stadium. Tickets are available by visiting www.ksuthorobreds.com/tickets.  

Women's Volleyball  
Women's volleyball will begin their season Sept. 1-2 at the Dragon Classic hosted by league opponent Lane College. On Sept. 1 the Thorobreds will open play against conference opponent Lane at 8 a.m. while closing out the first day to Harris-Stowe at 4 p.m. In the final day of play (Sept. 2) the Thorobreds will face Dilliard (Noon) and Winston-Salem (4 p.m.). 

Cross Country 
Both the men's and women's cross-country teams will open their season on Friday, September 1 at the Centre/Berea Jamboree in Berea, Kentucky.
