Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 | Box Score 3 | Box Score 4 ORANGEBURG, S.C.  – Kentucky State softball swept all four Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA) opponents during the Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SIAC) vs CIAA Softball Challenge in Orangeburg, South Carolina.

Kentucky State vs. Shaw – 4-1
Kentucky State vs. Virginia State – 4-1 
Kentucky State vs Fayetteville State- 7-6
Kentucky State vs Bluefield State – 5-3 
 
Notable Performances
Kayla West, 14 innings pitched, 2 wins and 12 strike outs and the team had 12 hits vs. Fayetteville State.
 
Over the course of the two-day challenge, pitchers, Kendall Collier, Tess Pelland and Kayla West combined for 24 strikeouts, 2.5 ERA, 0 Home-runs and 1 Double.

The Thorobreds will travel to Jackson, Mississippi to play in the Capital City Classic hosted by Jackson State University on Feb. 25-26.
