ATLANTA – Kentucky State men's basketball falls to Morehouse College 86-71 Saturday evening inside the Forbes Arena in Atlanta.
In the first half, the Thorobreds went 6-of-6 from the charity stripe. The Tigers would outrebound Kentucky State 22-11 and make for more shots from the field to lead the Thorobreds 41-36 at the end of the first half.
Morehouse made 50% of their shots from the field and 81.3% from the charity stripe in the second half.
Montrell Jacobs went 100% (7-of-7) from the charity stripe and led Kentucky State with 13 points during the half. The Tigers went on to outscore the Thorobreds 45-35 and win the contest 86-71.

Jalon Andrews followed with 13 points and led the Thorobreds with eight rebounds.
