FRANKFORT, Ky. – Thorobreds outscore Yellow Jackets in second half but a last second shot by Allen ledto a 67-65 Yellow Jacket victory.
The Yellow Jackets found success from the field early but then went scoreless for over two minutes allowing the Thorobreds to come within three of their 25-22 lead at 3:42 in the first half.
Aziel Blackwell made both his free-throws to bring the Thorobreds to within one (25-24) moments later (3:27). A late scoring run from Allen gave them a 37-38 lead at halftime.

A 9-2 run led by five points from
Khalif Crawley Jr. brought the Thorobreds to within two of the 53-51 Yellow Jacket lead at 7:55 in the second half.
Lavar Miller Jr. found him one from long range to bring his team to within one 55-54 late in the second half (6:14).
Brandon Hill made both of his free-throws to tie the game 65-65 with just 16 seconds remaining in regulation. The Yellow Jackets hit a jumper to in the final moments to defeat the Thorobreds 67-65.
Lavar Miller Jr. led Kentucky State with 16 points his teammates
Josiah Mitchell followed with 12 points Crawley scored 10.
Look Ahead
Men's basketball will continue home play on Monday, Dec. 4 as they host the SIAC opponent Benedict at 7:30 p.m. inside the Exum Center.
