Due to Hurricane Ian the game was moved from Saturday, Oct. 2 to Sunday, Oct. 3 at 3 p.m. inside the Theodore A. Wright Stadium in Savannah, Georgia.

The Thorobreds last met the Tigers on Oct. 2 at homecoming as the Tigers defeated the Thorobreds 21-17.
 
SCOUTING THE TIGERS
Savannah State is 2-2 on the season and 2-1 in SIAC play, with conference wins against Edward Waters (31-28) and Morehouse (15-3).
 
Jadon Adams leads the Tigers with 226 rushing yards and averages 56.50 yards per game. Adams also leads the team with a 56.67% completion rate for 253 yards and four touchdowns.
Da'Shun Mitchell leads his team with 174 receiving yards, and Brent Carr leads with three receiving touchdowns.
 
On the Defensive side, the Tigers are led by Amiri Smith as he holds 15 solo tackles and eight assists for 23 total tackles. Tavare Brewton is also a defensive standout with 22 total tackles, as 12 are solo, and ten are assists.
