JACKSON, Tenn.– A late rally excels Kentucky State past conference opponent Lane College 9-6 in the final game of the series in Jackson, Tennessee.
Lane kept the Thorobreds scoreless leading the contest 6-0 through six innings.
In the seventh inning, things would quickly change as
Kailen Olison singled up the middle to bat in two runners. Olison went on to score on an error by the shortstop. Kendall continued to bat runners in by sending two of her teammates across home plate.
Tommya Davis batted the last runner of the inning to tie the game at 6-6, going into the top of the eighth.
Aaliyah Yates gave Kentucky State a 7-6 on a home run early in the Thorobreds lineup.
Moana Pinner extended her team's lead, batting one runner in.
Tanisha Valdez sent
Arianna Hill across home to send Kentucky State to a 9-6 victory.
Both Olison and Davis led Kentucky State at the plate with a batting average of .667. Hill had a robust average of .600 during the contest.

The Thorobreds will travel to Grayson, Kentucky to play Kentucky Christian in a doubleheader on March 30th. First pitch is scheduled for noon.
