FRANKFORT, Ky. – Kentucky State Men's Volleyball battles with the Battlers in a four-set 3-1 loss, Friday night inside Bell Gymnasium.
Alderson Broaddus got out ahead early and took the first set 25-18. Kentucky State responded in the second set, winning the set 25-21 and tieing the match at 1-1.
The third set was neck and neck, with the Thorobreds holding the lead early in the set, and the Battlers finished the set with a narrow 25-21 set win and led the match 2-1.
Alderson Broaddus secured a 25-14 lead in the fourth and final set that led to a 3-1 victory.
Jordan Howard led Kentucky State with 13 kills.
Kade Andruski led with 13 assists and four aces.
Jamal Gray rounded out the leaderboard with eight digs.
The Thorobreds will face rival Central State on Saturday, March 25th at 2 p.m. inside Bell Gymnasium. Indoor athletic events are closed to spectators. The games are available on ksuthorobreds.com.
