FRANKFORT, Ky. – Kentucky State women's basketball fell 68-55 against league opponent Spring Hill College, Saturday afternoon inside the Exum Center.
How It Happened
The Badgers got ahead early in the first quarter, led by Tyashia Bostick, who scored 12 points and led Spring Hill to a narrow 18-16 lead.
A pair of Thorobreds would lead their team in outscoring the Badgers in the second 15-13,
Laurie Thomas tallied eight points, and
Hannah Henderson scored seven. Spring Hill would hold a 31-29 lead at halftime.
Spring Hill would lead the second half and win the contest 68-55. Henderson led Kentucky State with 16 points, five rebounds and one block.
Taleah Dilworth scored ten points and four rebounds.
