FRANKFORT, Ky. –
Hannah Henderson hits double figures in a 73-64 loss to SIAC opponent Tuskegee, Monday night inside the Exum Center.
Henderson led Kentucky State and earned a double-double of 19 points and 10 rebounds.
How It Happened
A strong shooting performance from Tuskegee's Ashiala Jackson led her team to a 18-10 first quarter lead with 12 points.
The second quarter would be led by Henderson's 13 points and gave the Thorobreds 19-18 second quarter lead. Tuskegee would go into the half with a 36-29 lead.
As a team things would come full circle for Kentucky State as they closed on the Tuskegee 57-51 lead.
Tuskegee would extend their lead in the fourth quarter to defeat the Thorobreds 73-64.
Along with Henderson,
Laurie Thomas hit double-figures as well with 14 points while tallying seven rebounds.
