MEMPHIS, Tenn. – At the first SIAC cluster of the 2021 season, the Kentucky State women's volleyball team wins three of their four matches on the campus of LeMoyne-Owen.
How it Happened
KSU opened the cluster against Miles college winning three sets straight.
Keyara Brooks aided the team's success during this match by having four major blocks as well as 25 assists.
In their first meeting with the Spring Hill Badgers this season the Thorobreds would drop all three sets beginning with the first set, 25-20 then 25-18 for the next two matches.
The Thorobreds found their rhythm in the following game against Tuskegee sweeping the series 3-0. Jaylnn Roberts had 13 kills during the match and Brooks would earn 32 assists.
The cluster would conclude against host LeMoyne-Owens with a quick first set loss 22-25. KSU would make a quick adjustment and win the next three sets.
Shaska Davis earned 4 blocks in the match and Roberts would secure 17 digs.
