Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 CLEVELAND, Tenn. – The Thorobreds completed day one of the Lee Invitational with a tough 2-3 loss to Young Harris College and a 0-3 loss to Shorter University.
 
HOW IT HAPPENED
Match 1 vs Young Harris: Quickly into the first two sets the Mountain Lions would take a 0-2 advantage early. The Thorobreds would rally quickly with a strong 28-26 third set win and another 25-18 fourth set win . In the fifth and final set Young Harris would take set and match with a 15-6 win.

Match 2 vs Shorter College: The Thorobreds would fall 0-3 to the Shorter Hawks. Jaylnn Roberts would lead the match with seven digs. SIAC Setter of the Week Keyara Brooks would lead her team with 11 assists.
 
UP NEXT
The Lee Invitational will come to a close Saturday, September 18 with two matches. The first match is set to begin at 11 a.m. against King and at 2:30 p.m. versus host Lee University.
