SALEM, W.Va. – The Kentucky State University softball team will travel to Salem, West Virginia, for a doubleheader contest against the Salem Tigers. The Thorobreds will begin play at 1 p.m. ET and close out the trip at 3 p.m. ET.
The Thorobreds are returning from a dropped doubleheader series at Division I opponent Morehead.

The Salem Tigers are 3-7 so far this season and are on a two-game win streak. The Tigers are currently 3-3 from HOPE Field this season.
A Look at the Series
Since 2017 the Thorobreds are 2-4 against the Salem Tigers and dropped their last matchup (4/23/19) to the Tigers 7-9.
From the Stable
There are a few Thorobreds off to a strong start, and Junior
Olivia Saylor is leading her team with a .429 batting average. Senior
Moana Pinner leads her team early with 25 putouts in just six games.
