FRANKFORT, KY – The Kentucky State University baseball team dropped their final contest to the Tuskegee Golden Tigers 5-10 at Alumni Field in Frankfort, Kentucky.
The Thorobreds would put the first run on the board to take a 1-0 lead at the bottom of the second.
Tuskegee would put a pair of runs on the board at the top of the third and would add four more in the fourth that the Thorobreds would match and allow the Golden Tigers to hold a 5-4 lead after four innings.
At the top of the seventh, the Thorobreds would allow four runs, and the Golden Tigers would take a 9-4 lead.
The ninth and final inning would close with both teams scoring a run, allowing the Golden Tigers to secure a 10-5 win.
Junior Jace Wilson led his team by going two-of-four at the plate.
UP NEXT The Kentucky State University baseball team will return to play Wednesday, March 24th, as they take on Cumberland at 2 p.m. from Alumni Field.
