Game Day Central: Softball at Walsh (Ohio)
 
FRANKFORT, KY – It's game day for the Kentucky State softball team as they play Walsh University in North Canton, Ohio, for a ­doubleheader contest on Wednesday, March 10. 
 
The first game of the doubleheader will begin at 1 p.m. and the second game to follow at 3 p.m. 
 
Junior Moana Pinner leads the Thorobreds with a .500 batting average. Her teammate Junior Sidney Campbell has a .400 batting average so far this season. 
 
Sophomore Kendall Collier has held 29 opponent batters to a .379 batting average. 
 
Cavaliers from the Dugout 
The Cavaliers are returning to play after an 8-0 six-inning loss to Anderson College. The Walsh softball team currently holds a 3-5 overall record this season. This will also be the first home contest of the 2021 season for the Cavaliers.
