Frankfort, Ky. – On Saturday, Kentucky State fell 64-60 to non-conference opponent Elizabeth City State inside the William Exum Center.
Jalon Andrews led the first half with eight points and six rebounds, which pushed Kentucky State to a 29-24 lead going into halftime.
Elizabeth City State would take control in the second half outscoring Kentucky State 40-31. Zacchues Hobbs led the Vikings with 14 points, while
Kong Kong and
Elijiah Lockhart scored eight points each.
The Vikings second-half performance would secure a 64-60 victory.
Andrews earned a double-double of 10 points and 12 rebounds along with one block.
Kong Kong led Kentucky State with 11 points and two blocks alongside nine rebounds. Both
Tyson Brooks and
Shamon Mosley earned 10 points each.
