Box Score COLUMBIA, S.C. – In the final moments of the second half, the Allen Yellow Jackets defeated Kentucky State 62-60, Thursday night in Columbia, South Carolina.  
 
The Thorobreds were neck and neck early, with the Yellow Jackets taking a one-point 28-27 lead going into the half. 
 
In the final moments of the game Allen would hold the advantage and win the half 34-33 and win the game by just two points 62-60. 
 
Montrell Jacobs led Kentucky State with 21 points; he also earned two rebounds, three assists, and one steal. 
 
Kong Kong landed in the double figures with 13 points while tallying five rebounds and one steal. 
 
Jalon Andrews earned nine points and eight rebounds.

The final game of the road series will close out to conference opponent Benedict College on Saturday, December 18, at 3 p.m.
