Atlanta, Ga. – Kentucky State men's and women's basketball will close out their conference road trip at Clark Atlanta on Monday, November 29th at the L.S. Epps Gymnasium in Atlanta, Georgia.
 
Women's basketball will tip-off at 5:30 p.m., followed by the men's team at 7:30 p.m. 
 
The Opponents
WBB: The Panthers are 1-5 so far this season and defeated SIAC opponent Central State 78-64 in their last matchup. Four Panthers saw double figures - Corriana Evans had 20, Maegan Barkley tallied 18 her teammate Autum Mornings earned 17 and Reagan Jackson had 11 points. Jackson led her team with eight assists and Evans led with eight rebounds.
 
MBB: Clark has a 2-4 overall record and fell 76-78 to SIAC opponent Central State. Brad Lewis had a double-double in the contest with 10 points and 12 rebounds. Lavar Miller led the Panthers with 22 points.
 
From the Stable
WBB:  Kentucky State continued their win streak with 68-58 win against SIAC opponent Fort Valley State to extend their overall record to 3-1.
 
In Saturday's win the Thorobreds went on a 37-7 scoring run for 12:34 seconds in the first half. Holding the Wildcats to eight points for 7:33 in the third quarter. Laurie Thomas led the Thorobreds in a pair of categories with 13 points and nine rebounds. Sydney Thomas had a strong performance shooting 4-of-5 from the field for 12 points.
 
MBB: Kentucky State past Fort Valley State 76-72 to extend their overall season record to 3-1.
 
 
A 21-5 second half run helped the Thorobreds outscore the Wildcats 39-28 to win their conference opener Saturday afternoon. Jalon Andrews had a big night with  14 points and 15 rebounds for a double-double.  Kong Kong led Kentucky State with 18 points and five assists; he shot 5-of-7 from the field and 6-of-6 free throws. As a team, Kentucky State led the contest shooting 73.9% from the charity stripe.
