Rock Hill, S.C.– Kentucky State women's volleyball sweeps Benedict 3-0 on the opening day of the 2021 SIAC Women's Volleyball Championship in Rock Hill, South Carolina.
In the opening, the Thorobreds would dominate the Tigers 25-15 to take the first set. Followed by another vital 25-16 set win and would close out the match with a 25-15 set win and win the match 3-0.
As a team, Kentucky State would nearly double their opponent in nearly every team stat. The Thorobreds would tally 12 aces to the Tigers three, secure 46 kills compared to 22, and lead with 43 assists while the Tigers earned 20. Kentucky State also led the match with 35 digs and tied with two blocks.
