Box Score TUSKEGEE, Ala. – The Kentucky State University men's basketball team fell to Tuskegee, 60-51, Monday in Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference action at the Chappie James Arena.
Kentucky State moved to 8-12 overall, 5-8 in the SIAC, while Tuskegee improved to 13-7 overall, 10-3 in the SIAC.
TURNING POINT
With the game tied at 42, Tuskegee seized control of the game with an 11-2 run – opening up a nine-point lead.
INDIVIDUAL LEADERS
Senior
Jordan Little (Jersey City, N.J.) was the lone Thorobred in double figures with 14 points. He added 12 rebounds for his tenth double-double of the season.
Junior
Kevin Wharton-Price (Pittsburgh, Pa.) added nine points, all three pointers, and senior
Orlando Fikes (Detroit, Mich.) also tallied nine points. Graduate
Shaq Athie (Cincinnati, Ohio) pulled down seven rebounds. Graduate
Felix Wilson (Lexington, Ky.) dished out a team-high four assists.

"It was 42-all for a while," said Kentucky State University head coach
Jamaal Jackson. "We got stops, but we came down to our end and gave the ball away."
INSIDE THE BOX SCORE
Kentucky State yielded 16 offensive rebounds leading to 11 second-chance points. The Thorobreds finished with six offensive rebounds.
Tuskegee held the 24-9 advantage in points off turnovers.
