Box Score WILBERFORCE, Ohio – The Kentucky State University men's basketball team dropped to 0-6 on the road as the Thorobreds fell to Central State Saturday, 89-76, in Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference action.

Kentucky State falls to 6-9 overall, 3-5 in the SIAC, while Central State snapped its four-game losing streak to improve to 6-8 overall, 4-4 in the SIAC.
 
Turning Point
Central State scored 10 straight points following the first media timeout in the second half as part of a 12-0 run that turned a two-point KSU lead into a 10-point deficit.

Individual Leaders
Senior Jordan Little (Jersey City, N.J.) recorded his third double-double in four games, and his eighth on the season, with 21 points and 13 rebounds. He was a perfect 8-of-8 from the floor and 5-of-5 from the free throw line.

Senior Grant Goode (Matawan, N.J.) added 14 points and eight rebounds, while senior Shaq Athie (Cincinnati, Ohio) added 10 points and seven rebounds.

Kentucky State only had eight players participate, but one of the players only notched two minutes of action.

The Thorobreds connected on a season-high 78.9 percent (15-of-19) from the foul line. They converted just one of the last 10 three-pointers, and finished shooting 7-of-24 from beyond the arc (29.2 percent).

Kentucky State, which is one of the top defensive three-point team, limited Central State to just 28.6 percent (4-of-14).

By virtue of 13 big rebounds from Little, Kentucky State held the edge in rebounding margin with a plus-12 (40-12).
