ALBANY, Ga. – The Kentucky State University volleyball team wrapped up the Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Crossover with an unbeaten record following a straight-set win (25-15, 25-11, 25-14) over Savannah State University.
Junior
Robin Poole (Katy, Texas) led the team with 12 kills on 22 attempts and two errors for a hitting percentage of .455. Freshman
Brianna Etienne (Houston, Texas) added seven kills on 11 attempts with two errors for a hitting percentage of .455. As a team, Kentucky State hit .316 with 38 kills on 76 attempts and just 14 errors

Freshman Sade Adeyinka (Chantilly, Va.) recorded a career-high 13 assists and tied with sophomore
Alliyah Williams (Sugar Land, Texas) for a team-high four aces. Junior
Sasha Bills (Mesa, Ariz.) finished with 12 assists and two aces. The Thorobreds finished with 12 services aces in the victory.
Ten players recorded a dig with junior
Oyuky Benitez (Laveen, Ariz.) leading the team with eight.
Kentucky State (12-6 overall, 10-1 SIAC) travels to Salem, W.Va. for tri-match with Salem University and Ohio Valley University 3 p.m. Tuesday.
