A balanced offensive attack contributed to the Kentucky State University volleyball team sweeping a pair of games during the second day of the Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference West Division cluster at the William Exum Center.
Kentucky State breezed past Tuskegee in straight sets, 25-17, 25-16, 25-17, and then swept LeMoyne-Owen, 25-16, 25-12, 25-19.

Every player finished with a kill in the win over the Golden Tigers as Kentucky State hit .361 with 38 kills on 72 attempts and 12 errors.
Sophomore
Mariah Peachey (Liverpool, Ohio) and freshman
Mesi Willson (Houston, Texas) each finished with a team-high seven kills. Peachey recorded her kills in nine attempts and one error, and Willson had her seven kills on 10 attempts with just two errors.
Junior
Robin Poole (Katy, Texas) added five kills on 17 attempts and one error, while senior
Tapanga Moten (New Orleans, La.) chipped in with four kills. Moten added two block assists and a solo block. Junior
Sasha Bills (Mesa, Ariz.) distributed a team-high 13 assists, and sophomore
Jalyn Barnett (Detroit, Mich.) finished with nine assists and five digs.

Oyuky Benitez (Laveen, Ariz.) finished with a team-high seven digs. Kentucky State recorded seven service aces in the victory.

Poole was dominant in the second match, recording a season-high 14 kills in 28 attempts and two errors as KSU moved to over .500 on the season. Peachey and freshman
Makayla Berry (Orangeburg, S.C.) each tallied five kills.
Bills had 13 assists and Barnett 12 to combine for 25 of the team's 34 assists.
The Thorobreds finished with nine service aces as Poole recorded three with Benitez, Bills and sophomore
Alliyah Williams (Sugar Land, Texas) finishing with two. Benitez added 11 digs.
