The Kentucky State University women's basketball team fell in the regular season finale to Tuskegee Monday, 66-52, in Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference action at the William Exum Center. (

Junior
Jessie Kee (Indianapolis, IN) led the team with 14 points and six rebounds, while junior
Amani Williams (Scotch Plains, NJ) added 13 points, three rebounds, two assists and two steals.
Senior
Brooke Wallace (Oberlin, OH), who was limited to just 20 minutes due to foul trouble, pulled down a team-high eight boards.
It marked the final home game for seniors Wallace,
Vinsetta Covington (Birmingham, AL) and
Tara Jefferson (Milwaukee, WI)
After taking a two-point into the second period, Kentucky State was outscored 28-17 over the middle two quarters to trail 44-35 heading into the final stanza. Tuskegee scored eight of the final 10 points over the last four minutes of the third period.
The Thorobreds shot 40 percent in the first half, but couldn't maintain the sharp shooting in the second half – converting just 22.6 percent from the floor.
Kentucky State (13-13 overall, 6-11 SIAC), with both Central State and Spring Hill posting victories, will be the seventh seed in the West Division for the upcoming SIAC Tournament.
