CLINTON, MS – The Kentucky State University softball team dropped a pair of non-conference games to Mississippi College Tuesday.

GAME ONE: Mississippi College 5, Kentucky State 0
The Choctaws scored three runs in the first and another two in the second inning to account for all of the offense.

She accounted for half of the Kentucky State hits as senior Natalia Bocanegra (Covina, CA) and senior Jittaun Thompson (Pomona) had knocks for the 'Breds. Thompson's first inning single extended her hitting streak to six games.

Kentucky State left five runners on base in the contest.

Senior Paola Flores, 1-3, (San Lorenzo, Puerto Rico) allowed five runs (three earned) on eight hits with two strikeouts and a walk.

GAME TWO: Mississippi College 8, Kentucky State 0 (5 innings)
