WILBERFORCE - The Kentucky State University volleyball team split a pair of matches at the Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference West Division cluster Saturday to finish the event 3-2.
In their first match of the day, the Thorobreds defeated Miles, 3-1, and then fell in straight sets to Spring Hill.

Sophomore 
Robin Poole recorded her third double-double of the season as three different Thorobreds tallied double digits kills in the victory over the Golden Bears.
Poole (Katy, TX) tied a career-high with 19 kills to go along with 13 digs. Senior 
Arlandria Greathouse (Crowley, TX) added 16 kills on 34 attempts, while freshman 
Mariah Peachey (Liverpool, OH) tallied 11 kills on 20 attempts.
Sophomore 
Amanda Moore (Caddo Mills, TX) distributed a career-high 33 assists, marking the third time this season she had dished out at least 30 assists.
Freshman 
Khirra Kenney (Indianapolis, IN) tied a career-high with 10 digs.
SPRING HILL 3, KENTUCKY STATE 0 (25-7, 25-20, 25-19)
Poole was the leading offensive threat for the Thorobreds with seven kills, while pair of players - Peachey and sophomore 
Spenser Parks (Louisville, KY) added five kills with a team-high .333 hitting percentage.
Moore tallied a team-high 14 assists and sophomore 
Gabriella Gracia (Trullio Alto, Puerto Rico) led the team with 10 digs.
Kentucky State (7-14 overall, 3-2 SIAC) travels to Asbury 5:30 p.m. Tuesday in non-conference action.
