WILBERFORCE - The Kentucky State University volleyball team picked up a straight-set victory, beating Central State Tuesday, 25-10, 25-21, 25-16, in Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference action at the Beacom-Lewis Gymnasium.

Spenser Parks (Louisville, KY) led a balanced Thorobred attack with nine kills on 18 attempts. Senior
Brooke Moore (Bloomfield, MI) finished with eight kills on 12 attempts with just one error, while sophomore
Jalynn Roberts (Davenport, IA) contributed seven kills on 11 attempts and one error.

Makayla Martin (Combine, TX) - all had three digs for the Thorobreds.
Kentucky State has now won six straight, and nine of the last 10, SIAC matches following the straight-set win. Of the nine conference wins, five have been in straight sets.
The Thorobreds (14-18 overall, 9-2 SIAC) travels to a second West Division cluster this week, traveling to LeMoyne-Owens. KSU plays Tuskegee and Spring Hill Friday at 11 a.m. and 3 p.m., respectively.
