KANSAS CITY, MO - The Kentucky State University volleyball had its six-game winning streak snapped Saturday as the Thorobreds fell to nationally-ranked Rockhurst and Quincy in straight sets.

Robin Poole (Katy, TX) tallied a team-high nine kills on 32 attempts for a hitting percentage of .125, while sophomore
Jalynn Roberts (Davenport, IA) hit .313 with six kills on 16 attempts.

Makayla Martin (Combine, TX) added five kills on 24 attempts for Kentucky State.

Gabriella Gracia (Trullia Alto, Puerto Rico) dished out 13 assists, and sophomore
Amanda Moore (Caddo Mills, TX) added eight assists.
Freshman
Alliyah Williams (Sugar Land, TX) registered a team-high 13 digs and Martin added 11 for KSU.
QUINCY 3, KENTUCKY STATE 0 (25-17, 25-23, 25-18)
Poole picked up her sixth double-double of the season with 13 kills and 11 assists to lead KSU. It's the 13th time this season Poole finished with double-figure kills and the eighth time this season she recorded double-digit digs.
Gracia finished an assist shy of a double-double with 11 digs and nine assists.
Williams had a team-high 19 digs and Moore led the team with 13 assists.
Senior
Arlandria Greathouse (Crowley, TX) recorded three block assists, a solo block, five kills and a dig.
Kentucky State (13-18) travels to Wilberforce 6 p.m. Saturday for a SIAC game against Central State.
