Indianapolis, Ind.—Kentucky State University men's and women's indoor track and field bounced back in second meet of the season at the Indianapolis Collegiate Challenge over the weekend.
"Our team showed a lot of heart over the weekend," said head coach Fatmiah Shabazz. "We've battled a lot of illnesses these last few weeks and it took a week to truly get back into the flow of training after the Holiday's. I was highly impressed with every athlete's performance. We showed that KSU can "Run, Jump and Throw". We will take a week of rest to recover and head out to ETSU in February for what I anticipate as another great weekend of performances. "I want to thank all of the Alumni, friends and families that showed up in numbers yesterday. We appreciate all of the support."
