Frankfort, Ky.—Kentucky State University Athletics and Hunt Brothers® Pizza will partner on Saturday, Sept. 16 to add to the overall fan experience when the football Thorobreds face off against  Kentucky Wesleyan College at Alumni Stadium. Kickoff is set for 1:30 pm ET.
 
The contest will center around Uniformed Professional's Day, where all first responders and military personnel will be granted free admission. Different branches will be honored throughout the day for their commitment to serving their communities and their willingness to sacrifice themselves for others.
 
"We are excited about this weekend's game and building a relationship with our sponsors," said Athletic Director, William Graham. "We will honor and recognize our local heroes, while also providing them and our fans the opportunity to sample Hunt Brothers® Pizza."
 
Hunt Brothers® Pizza will feature  their Pizza to the Rescue truck during pregame tailgating, giving out free samples of their pizza to the fans in attendance.
 
"This is another step in the right direction to support our teams, our student-athletes, and our fans when it comes to KSU athletic events," said Graham. "Partnering with an organization like Hunt Brothers® Pizza and having them provide their product to our fans, transforms our game into a can't miss event."
 
Gates will open at Alumni Stadium at 12:30 pm ET and tickets can be purchased online at KSUThorobreds.com. First responders and military personnel will be asked to show a form of identification at the ticket windows.
