MBB Suffers Setback to Spring Hill College, 91-78

Box Score Frankfort, Ky. - Kentucky State University, men's basketball, fell 91-78 in SIAC action to Spring Hill College in its final regular season home game Monday night at the Exum Center.
 
Junior guard Dorian Jordan netted a KSU-high 24 points, making 8-of-11 from the free throw line. Senior forward Julius Barton recorded 15 points and grabbed seven boards while sophomore guard Chas Harvey added 13 points for the hosts.

Barton anchored the Thorobreds in the first half, making all five attempts from the floor to score eleven first half points to keep KSU within eight, as it trailed 50-42 at halftime.
 
Despite playing a solid first half, KSU could not hold off the aggressive SHC offense as the home squad dropped its third straight contest.

KSU (9-16, 7-10 SIAC) will be on the road for its final regular season game against Cedarville University in a nonconference bout. Tip-off is at 7:30 p.m.
