Box Score 2 Xenia, Ohio.—Kentucky State University volleyball split a double header with a 3-0 loss to Cedarville University and a 3-0 victory over Central State University on Saturday.

The Thorobrettes (18-16, 12-4) now await the SIAC Conference Tournament, where they sit firmly in the No. 2 seed in the West Division. As the No. 1 seed in 2015, KSU claimed the SIAC Tournament Championship.

Tahje Ochs turned in a strong performance with a team-high eight kills and recorded five digs in the process. Senior setter
Anjelique Kyle notched a team-high 24 assists, accounting for all but one assists on the morning for the Thorobrettes.

Tianna Hayes followed the trend with 15 digs of her own.

The Thorobrettes set the pace and never faltered in a 3-0 sweep against SIAC foe CSU. KSU trailed early in the first set and the third set, but those deficits didn't last long, as KSU win each set by more than nine points.

Ariana Gregory collected eight digs apiece to lead KSU defensively. Senior middle blocker
