Kentucky State Basketball Hosting Military Appreciation Games

FRANKFORT, Ky. -- The Kentucky State University men's and women's basketball teams will host Tuskegee University this Saturday afternoon starting with the women's game at 1 p.m.

The January 18th games against the Tigers/Tigerettes of Tuskegee will serve as the basketball teams Military Appreciation games. The men's team will wear special military fatigue jerseys for the game.

Any current or former members of the military are encouraged to join us for both the women's and men's basketball game's free of charge. Just bring a military ID or wear an article of clothing with a military symbol on it to receive free admission at the box office.

Tuskegee currently sits atop both the men's and women's SIAC West Division standings. The Tigers record as of today is 6-8 overall and 3-2 in SIAC play. The Tigerettes have a 7-6 overall record, 3-1 in SIAC action. Tuskegee will travel to Benedict for a doubleheader on Thursday, Jan. 16th before heading to Frankfort for their games against Kentucky State.
