Hartly, DE (September 26, 2011) – The Heritage Sports Radio Network (HSRN) announces national player of the week fan poll week four nominees. Each week, HSRN will announce a national player of the week from both the top DI-FCS and Division II action.
This week, Kentucky State University's Jerrel Noland has been named a Division II nominee. Noland completed 21 of 33passes with no interceptions for 213 yards and one touchdown, leading KSU to a 23-7 win over Kentucky Wesleyan. The Thorobreds finished with 392 total offensive yards and 20 first downs. Noland's 21 completions is the second highest total in his career (he completed 25 passes in 2010 vs. Morehouse).
The top performance each week will be selected and the HBCU fans across the country will get a chance to cast their vote for who they think had the best game. The Fan Poll is designed to get fans involved with the excitement of the HBCU college football action. Fans are asked to log on to HSRN.com and cast their vote for the top performance. Fans can vote on the poll today (Mon., Sept. 26) thru Wednesday (Sept. 28) until 11am CT. The nominees are below:

Kejuan Riley – Alabama St. – FS – 6'2, 208 – JR/Wetumpka, AL
Riley made a career-high 12tackles (nine solo) and tied a career-high two interceptions in the Hornets21-14 win over Jackson St. Riley's interceptions were in the second and third quarters, both in the red zone, with the second leading to a Hornets' touchdown. Riley has made two interceptions in each of the past two games. His five interceptions this season leads the FCS and is two of his career high set last season. Riley's 13 career interceptions are tied for sixth in ASU history since 1970. The Hornets defeated HSRN's #2 Jackson St.21-14.
Lavante Page – Florida A&M – RB – 5'11, 208 – JR/Atlanta, GA
In front of a hometown crowd of 59,373 fans, Page finished the game with 73 yards rushing on 16 carries and a FAMU and Atlanta Classic record five (5) touchdowns. The five touchdowns surpassed three Rattlers who had run for four – Willie Galimore (vs. TN State – 1956), Chuck Duffey (vs. Tuskegee – 1991) and Oteman Sampson-Delancy –vs. Tuskegee – 1996. Jerry Lovelocke – Prairie View – QB – 6'5, 200 – R-FR/Baltimore, MD
Completed 19 of 23 passes for242 yards and two touchdowns and also rushed six times for 45 yards. He finished the game with 287 total offensive yards as the Panthers defeated Mississippi Valley St. 43-34.
Derrick Wiley – S.C. State – QB – 6'1, 190– R-JR/Rockingham, SC
Wiley completed 12 of 20passes for 238 yards and four touchdowns. He also rushed for 40 yards and two touchdowns, finishing the game with278 total offensive yards. He was in on six touchdowns for the Bulldogs and his efforts also helped them to 687 total offensive yards in their 69-0 win over Delaware State.
Div. II
Tyron Laughinghouse – St. Augustine's – WR/KR – 6'3, 175– JR/Greenville, NC
Laughinghouse scored three touchdowns against Lincoln, including two pass receptions. He caught touchdown passes for 37 and 32 yards. He also scored on a 58 yard punt return and finished the game with four receptions for 98 yards and 197 all-purpose yards. He tied the mark for most touchdowns in a game for a Falcon since 2002. The Falcons defeated Lincoln (PA) 34-17.

Hickman completed 19 of 35passes for 320 yards and one touchdown, leading the Panthers to a 32-29 win over previous unbeaten Bowie St.
Daronte McNeill – Elizabeth City, NC – RB – 6'2, 215 – JR/Elizabeth City, NC
McNeill rushed for 181 yards and two touchdowns on 36 carries, leading the Vikings to a 28-21 win over the defending CIAA Champs, Shaw University.
