Markus Broussard enters his first year as Assistant Coach for Men's & Women's Track & Field/Cross Country. Broussard is responsible for developing KSU's long distance runners, strengthen and conditioning coach and also serves as recruiting coordinator. Broussard began his coaching career as an assistant coach for Full Stride Track Club in his home town of Fairfield, CA. Broussard coached several young athletes to the USATF Junior Olympic in the 4 seasons of coaching there. Broussard moved to KY to seek a degree In Physical Education with a minor in coaching and athletic training. He then became an assistant track and cross country coach at KSU, while coaching at KSU the men’s cross country team took 3rd place in the SIAC conference, coaching 2 young men to all- conference status.
