Roy Walker is in his first season as an assistant football coach at Kentucky State University. He comes to The Hill after a season at Perry High School.
Prior to working at Perry, Walker was a student assistant at Clemson University for two seasons. During his time with the Tigers, Clemson claimed an ACC title and an Orange Bowl Championship. Clemson also advanced to the National Championship game, falling to Alabama, during Walker’s tenure.
Walker spent six seasons at Macon County High School (GA), where he coached quarterbacks and receivers. He also coached baseball, basketball and track.
He is a 2016 graduate of Clemson University.
